Under 7 Category • 2026I made this nest from organic oat straw that we grew on our farm. i Twisted it into a rope (my grandad taught me how to make straw ropes) i stuck some oat seed in there too so the Birds would have some food to eat when they're in the nest. I wanted to make a comfy nest that was really pretty like a nest for a queen. Maybe a Wren because at Christmas they say He's the king of all birds. But what about his queen? I put an eye on the back of the nest that i made using twisted straw and wrapping more straw around it. It's watching over the nest keeping an eye on it making sure the cuckoo doesn't come and kick any of the eggs out. I hope the queen likes my nest.
