This is my drawing of a fairy in a forest. I am very lucky because I live in Kilkenny near Jenkinstown Woods and Castlecomer Discovery Park and go for walks with my family there. I like seeing the plants and flowers change in the different seasons. We love the bluebells in Jenkinstown every Spring. We see the deers and hear the birds. Fairies are magical. I don’t see them on my walks but I think they live there and get up to mischief. In my school, Lisnafunchin NS, we have a garden and learn about nature and wildlife. We planted lots of wildflowers and daffodils and snowdrops. I drew my picture using pencil and coloured it in using pencils and some markers for the peeping owl. I used collage for the fairy wings.
