This is a tapestry on hessian in the style of textile artist Vanessa Barragao. Our teacher told us about this artist. I cut up a hessian sac and stuck on pieces of fabric to makea landscape and then sowed them on. At the end I decorated with pom poms and pipecleaners. I choose a sunset over the sea because i like all of the colours and I live beside the sea. I enjoyed the sewing. This is the first time I made a tapestry. It ws very hard and tiring to do but I am very pround of the art work
