‘The king of the river’ My painting shows a kingfisher overlooking a river. In the background I have painted a wetland and forest setting. I live in countryside at the north coast of Ireland and I have been inspired be the wildlife around me. I used watercolour paints for mostly everything and used oil pastels and colouring pencils to add texture.
