My name is Amelia and I am six years old. My Artwork was inspired by a visit to the Aquarium in Dingle, Co. Kerry. I really enjoyed exploring the Sealife there. There were so many beautiful creatures and colours that I wanted to capture in my artwork using a mixed media approach. My picture is made using paints, glitter, glitter foam board, easter egg tinsel and sequences. The animals that I loved the most and wanted to include were a stingray, a starfish, a shark, an octopus, some tropical fish as well as colourful coral and seaweeds. This was so much fun to make. I especially love the glitter.
