I really like Japanese culture and history, but what fascinates me the most are the views of ancient villages. I decided to paint this artwork for that reason. Initially, I planned to make the lotus bright so that it would stand out, but during the process, I realized it could glow without adding vivid colors. In my work, I painted old Japanese houses surrounded by water lilies and dark, impenetrable water.
