This is a watercolour painting inspired by the views from behind my house. it shows the hills on a sping evening and shows the calmness and quiteness of the hills with the sun setting and the sheep wondering around. There is a painting within my painting to capture that the artist is there but has stepped out of the scene for a moment, it also symbolises the artist trying to capture the moment and take it in before it changes. Overall it is a peaceful and calm painting showing a quiet afternoon.
