I used Canson XL textured paper and Faber Castell Goldfaber pencils for my art. I love Art so it was great fun and soothing doing this. My Art is nature of course and the dots are fireflies, the fox is a beautiful animal an orange and white mane. The Toucan has a very long and colourful beak. The ladybug has sixteen dots and is on an oak tree branch with four leaves on it. I used yellow and white and dark brown to make the fireflies and for the leaves I used yellow, dark brown, green and dark green. I started with the fireflies when I finished sketching them I coloured in the yellow and used white to smooth out the colours. Then I put some white around the edges and around this I put dark brown just to make it look better. The leaves are to show that they are outside not indoors, I coloured the back leaves with yellow, white, dark brown and dark green. First I put a little bit of yellow on the edges then I put dark green in the middle after I was done with going more light I went a bit harder and finally I put dark brown as the midrib. I did the lighter leaves by the same colours except for the colours dark brown but with green With the toucan’s beak I used red, orange, yellow and black ,for the eyes I used blue, orange, yellow and black. For the ladybug I used red, black, orange, white, yellow, baby blue and purple and finally for the fox I used orange, black, baby blue and white. What inspired me to make this piece is to show what I think nature is. Thank you, Rorie
