I drew this art with pencil on paper and did most of the colour with pencil too. I created the murmuration in the background with a cotton bud and black watercolour paint and used water to make dark smudges of clouds in the sky. I was inspired by the starling murmurations that take place over Albert's bridge in belfast and the success story that brought the starlings back. I tried to use colouring pencils to draw the colourful sheen on the closer starling's chest.
