I made its body from fluffy pom poms in bright colours so it looks soft and magical. It has one big googly eye so it can spot shiny things in the deep water. I've even used luminous acrylic paint, so the fish glows when the lights go off. The background is the sea. I used blue crepe paper to make waves and green crepe paper for seaweed that looks wiggly. I glued on real shells and tiny coral pieces so the fish has places to explore and hide. I love the sea. we go rockpooling on the beach in Galway to find sea creatures. I snorkel at Trá an Dóilín and sail with my dad when the weather is nice. That’s why I wanted to make something that shows how amazing underwater life is, even at night.
