I made a mixed media self portrait, using charcoal for the focal point, the cardboard reaches out, and the colour red has an emotional association with passion, adventure, love and anger. To be inspired is to be fueled by a feeling that is individual to everyone. What motivates me to create something beautiful like art, is inspiration I find within myself, because every work of art is an artist at work. Mirrors may reflect my face, but art reflects my soul, and only when your art brings you happiness, is when it reaches perfection.
