I wanted to paint on stone. I found a broken base of an umbrella stand in my back garden and used this in my art. It was rusty and old but really nice to paint on. It is really heavy. I left some of the rust to add an interesting effect. I love that I can create art on whatever with whatever. I used both paintbrushes and finger painting techniques to paint this picture of my mom. This is Inspiration.
