Commendation

For my piece I chose to draw my grandad as he is my biggest inspiration in life. Him and I are both diabetics and I have always looked to him for advice. The piece depicts my grandad looking over a view of a lake with mountains. I chose this to represent how you can never tell how someone is feeling, in my piece he looks over the beautiful view with a straight face but it doesn’t mean he enjoys it any less. The piece is done in pencil as I wanted the drawing to be in black and white to focus on my grandads indecipherable expression.
