Commendation

This picture of me in the Palestrina Choir gives me a feeling of extraordinary joy, as we are back singing in the church – it’s of our first concert in two years in St Mary’s Pro-cathedral. We still wear masks due to covid risk of singing, but it’s fine as we have got used to it. The conductor, Blanaid, is great at getting the best out of our voices. Easter week was exciting, and tiring, as we sang in the cathedral every day. It felt happy in the church with everyone seeing each other again.
