Commendation

This is a pencil drawing of a photo of an old lady’s face that I saw on the internet. I thought the old lady’s face showed both a sadness and a hard life. It looks like she has lived a full journey of life. I found her face so expressive with all the wrinkles and the little tear in her right eye. Her face got me thinking about growing from young to old. This old lady was once a young girl like me now. So my journey through life is just beginning. This drawing took me about 20 hours to draw in total which I did over ten days in my bedroom.
