Commendation

As a young artist, I strive to find my purpose in life and art. I have an immense love for art. I was inspired by the many paintings of the biblical story of Judith beheading Holofernes. I wanted to represent what it is like to create work as Artist. We put our heads on the line, represented literally in my piece. I love leaving elements up to interpretation, the significance of the dramatic red lighting, the fabric, my expression. The hand can belong to me, anyone, everyone, or no-one.
